Had a fascinating chat with the street lighting team at LBBD the other week. Did you know there’s over 20,000 lighting units they manage throughout the borough? We talked about the beacon at the crossing on Lodge Avenue – the team are aware it’s not working and are chasing UK Power Networks to fix as it’s a supply issue. Hopefully won’t be too long until it’s flashing again.
If you notice a street light that’s on when it shouldn’t be (in the day) or not working when it should (dawn til dusk) then it’s important to report the number of the light/or exact location to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the council so it can be logged and looked into and fixed!
